It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

But we won’t pay the number mate? Musiala, £130m ish, Wirtz not for sale? Who else is there and don’t forget most players go up levels at City and the whole despite the very odd exception? We don’t want to spend the money to get Bruno G or Neves even so we aren’t getting the world stars as their fees are too high
Newcastle need to sell, we might get him for less than the £100m. And even if we miss out on Bruno G it doesn’t mean we should overpay on a squad player that plays another position.

Rodri and Foden got 44 G&A between them last season in the PL alone. A midfield of Foden-Rodri-Bruno could be pushing 60. If Kev leaves I’d play Foden in his position as he’s done most of the season and play Bobb as his backup instead of Olmo or Eze. I’m taking Bobb over those two every day of the week. Bobb would 100% be a regular starter for both Palace and Leipzig. We’d need another winger on top of Savio, but the midfield looks great. Expect a lot more from Lewis and Nunes next season

Yes, because we are really bad at forward planning ,regenerating the squad without a drop off, and managing our finances.

We are not, don't be daft.

We already know Pep is going, Txiki retiring, Ferran off to NY, and taking players with them. We've also been kind enough to share it with a few journalists too.

Olise? Bakayoko? Nico Williams?

Didn’t hear Khaldoon say that? Or anyone from City. A few clowns on here who know nothing and say that though.

Khsldoon mentioned that restrictions in terms of spending, loans and even player swaps even had extra restrictions in the rules these days so expected there to be a lot less movement than previous seasons due to these ridiculous changes

Almost £70m for a squad player/rotation. Great bargain that. Grealish at Villa was a far better player than Eze currently is. Decent player but wouldn’t be an upgrade on anything we already have. Should be looking at players that should challenge for a starting spot immediately
Absolutely no more of these stocking fillers like Nunes

For fear of a pile on, if alvarez were to go i wouldn't mind Calvert-Lewin as new back up striker. Injury record is bad but playing less would hopefully take care of that, 1 year on deal so fee would be in the kovacic range. Think he has a lot of technical quality and is a similar profile to haaland in playing style so we wouldnt have to change tactics when erling was out. Not too many better who'll take back up to such a clear no 1 in haaland.

Not for me. As you said injury-prone. I think our team’s build-up play is worse with Haaland but he makes up for it with his insane numbers. I don’t think we would get that from DCL.

I’d prefer to go for someone to replace the role as an 8 Alvarez was playing rather than a direct 9. If we were going for a 9 I’d go for Zirkzee from Bologna.
