Completely agree with you but there is no way we sell zinchenko this summer. He has earned his spot for now.He won’t be the long term solution... Mendy will either catch a break with injuries or we’ll invest come jan/next summer. He’s done well but he isn’t a top grade left back!
Think it's purely down to size, realises the need for a bit of height, Pep mentioned the fact he holds his breath at set pieces. Rodri fits the bill in midfield. I do like Ake thoughI'm surprised we are seemingly not interested in Ake.

He would need to have spent 2 years with us to not take one of the 17 non homegrown places.He is 19 as of now so won't take up space for 17 HG player quota.

You can always have 18 I think, there’s always going to be at least one long term injury before the season starts and especially before the champions league squads are announced. I doubt Mendy or Bravo will make the cut and zinchenko will pass for an U21 place, especially if he starts that stupid rap shite they’ll think he’s only 12.Foreign players are:
