It's Quiet 32 - enter at own risk

Bale has made it clear he won’t be forced out. No prospect of any other team paying him any where near £600k a week so he’ll enjoy the sun sand and golf for another 3 years. Real make their own problems. Like United Real want to buy lots of new shiny toys but shifting the overpaid cast offs can be very difficult.

A club who would pay 600k pw, for a player who is often injured & approaching 30, but is very famous around the world & loved by the media

Hmm.

Adebayor, Santa Cruz, Robinho, Bridge, et al like this post.
We seem to be a lot better now thank goodness.

Exactly, we’ve done it many times... people like Danny Mills just sat out long contracts when neither we nor anyone else were ever gonna play them. This is a measure of just how much better we are. Plenty on this site would have gone head to head with United to get Sanchez, or signed Fred.... that’s just two bullets we’ve missed by thinking before we act.

Isnt that what we have with Mangala and Benjamin Mendy lol?

For me the most shrewd bit of business effecting our club would be extending Pep's stay. I am pleased to hear the club are working on it.
Seriously?! I fully expected him to see out his contract and leave after his extension. Where did you hear that?! Best news of the summer if he does mate.

Unfortunately it was reported in the Sun. They are far more knowledgeable on mammary glands than they are on the intricacies of Football Management contracts...

PSG doesn't want to sell but 200 M£ is not a lot. PSG has bought him for 145+35 M€ (180). His price tag is way bigger than it was 2 years ago.

I wouldn't worry too much mate as any bid from us over £1.50 will be seen as immoral and would probably lead to us being investigated again.

If Mbappe goes anywhere it will be to Real Madrid but that may increase our chances of getting Hazard. I doubt even Madrid could afford Hazard, Mbappe, Jovic and Pogba

I am afraid that City will sign Bale to replace Sane.

Hopefully it will not happen.
Will never happen. Only 1 club in the world would be stupid enough to get a 30yo, injury-prone on record wages, and that`s the rags. Don`t think Bale will leave, even if the club wants him to, just look at what he said yesterday:
"I've got three years left on my contract. If they want me to go, they'll need to pay me €17m per season. If not, I'll stay here. And if I have to play golf, I will."

The rags will outspend and outpay every other club to get big names signed this summer. That's why FFP is so fucked up, the worst offenders massively in debt can spend what they like, while we have to toe the line even when we have no debt. I mean come on, do you want to play for Pep or Olly?, hmmmmmmmmm.

Real will try and sign everyone going, and end up selling nobody. No way is our wage bill bigger than theirs, infact I'd say there are several other clubs with bigger wage bills.
