Albeit, how big do his pay demands need to be for a club such as Real Madrid to think twice?

Perhaps this was what Pep was eluding at the other day when he said Madrid don't have more money than us?

The big problem is that the club has already said it wouldnt pay the rumoured fees (140mil+) to get agreement with Monaco. Great that we've agreed terms with player but still dont see us willing to meet monaco's value of the player....love for the club to prove me wrong on this one!;)

He's going in 2 seasons anyway. I would like to see him win smething in those 2 years. More of a chance he will with Mbappe. Mbappe is a wide forward anyway. It's Jesus that affects Aguero and potentially Sanchez. Obviously all forwards do to an extent, but generally I'd expect Aguero and Jesus to play down the middle with Sane, Sterling and if it happens Mbappe on the wing

Whatever the outcome, it's a great problem to have.

I think it's been mentioned but if we're pusing the boat out this hard on especially young players/players with a few years left I have a horrible suspicion something is boiling in the background, and it isn't good

You've seen him play. He's in the national team. He's done it in the Champions League. You can't fluke it for a season. I trust my own eyes. You might have good reason not to! but you will trust Pep and Txiki and of course Wenger, PSG, Real Madrid and all the other teams that have been linked with him.
