It's Quiet - a new dawn

You shouldn't feed them ideas))

He's the first player in years that I'd compare to Ronaldo de Lima, but he seems to be a more cultured, humble and professional version. Those who scream that such sums should be paid only for Messi probably don't acknowledge that Mbappe is better than Messi age-by-age.

He's a sensational talent. There's no doubts about that. Him & Jesus are the two stand out young strikers in World football and they'd both be at City. Little old City.

The fee is daft, no doubting that. As I see it, take it as £150 m for example, that's £80m for the lad himself. It's then worth the £70 million to finally announce ourselves as a true elite club. Beating Madrid to a player means more than just 60,70,80 million. It's a huge statement. Madrid have bullied World football for decades. Flexing our mite is worth it for me.
Oh and we get a sensational talent.

I remember wanting Aders Limpaar and losing out to Everton and buying Beagrie off them to fund their fucking move for our target.

Now look at us, going toe to toe with the very best.

Surely there is a difference of someone having potential being priced ~ £50m (stones/sterling) and someone being prices ~£100m - just a thought
Totally mate, but the point I was trying to get across which kind of got lost on some. Is that stones and sterling played 100 games each, before they moved to us, that's a fair assessment of ability imho.
This kid looks to be the real deal but a guarantee he is not, Jesus could be a better player at a fraction of the outlay.

Anyone who expects this to happen can still get 8 to 1 with sky bet. Might have to think about a cheeky tenner
Good odds if you're a gambler. You'd have to have faith in Tolmie as well. His post was pretty down to earth, straight to the point, absolutely no YouTube involved, so I'd say a tenner is worth a gamble.

On a side note, I wonder what the odds are on Sanchez?

How about the analogy of a 12 year old boy who can bang in 147s for fun in his local snooker club or a scratch golfer at the age of 13 - surely they have the world at their feet and just need a platform / coaching to perform on the world stage

If we sign this kid an keep aguero for one more season, to see if he likes it here and the league suits him I'd be a very happy man. He's gonna need a break from the pressure at some point when he discovers the British press are desperate for him to fail And will highlight every mistake he makes on and off the pitch. He won't get the same love that pogshit is getting after having a below average season.

We are not spending that mount on a trial :)

13 to 8 quoted on sky bet
