Sane is not the answer to our left wing back position if Mendy isn't fit. We need another left back to cover

After tonight I think we should be looking at another left back. Sane is no wingback and with Mendy injured and the Walker sending off we looked short of options. Get Sanchez if we can but I think £40 mill on Bertrand would be money well spent

Agreed, I think we can get Bertrand for 30m and we should. Danilo hasn't looked great there and Sane is terrible. If Mendy gets injured again our left side will be targeted once again as it was all of last season.

Bertrand. Would do well at centre back to in a 352 too, not just lb/lwb. Bertrand left side of the defence with mendy next to him at lwb would be great I think.

Many thought Pep was/is mad in wanting another forward (s) and repeatedly lamenting about our lack of ruthlessness..Clear as day now that G.Jesus and Aguero aren't enough.
