I think Aguero and Jesus are fine. They are making intelligent runs all the time and should be played in numerous times each game - the problem is our midfield are now so intent on keeping the ball they pass sideways before looking what the strikers are doing.

Otamendi and Kompany were finding themselves quite regularly on the edge of the opposition box, positions we need KDB and Silva in. Otamendi had at least two shots yesterday, last time one of our defenders did that was Kolarov!

Hard to judge based on yesterday as the sending off changed our set up, but once again we were guilty of missing some good chances and were hit with a soft, counter attack goal. Hopefully we'll start putting these chances away and we'll tighten up at the back, Everton's game plan when 11 v 11 was long balls down the channels and to be fair it did cause us problems, they won't be the only team taking this approach against us so we need to work out how to deal with it.

I know everyone is just focused on getting rid of Aguero. (We're City, let's have all 4!)
But am I the only one worried that we are a couple injuries away from Fernandinho playing left back again next season?

Talk about my doom and gloom prediction coming true.
So when I first mentioned us needing a second left back I was blown down by people telling me 3 fullbacks are more then enough (Danilo can play LB and all that), the same people who have no problem having Sterling, Sane & Silva on the bench and still wanting Sanchez.
The only reason in my opinion we have started with 3 at the back this season is because Pep doesn't think Danilo at LB in a flat 4 is comfortable enough, and thinks him and Sane can do the job at make shift LWB until Mendy is fit. 3 at the back seems to only suit Stones out of the entire 11 and everyone else looks uncomfortable. And some say we need to play it so we can get Jesus and Sergio on the field but there link up play is completely non existent.
So basically Mendy has to play 50 odd games this season or we have to play in a system that doesn't suit us without him. How is that reasonable?

Yep 100% plus our the opposition will know this and know how we are going to set up. It's just mad to think we can get away with 3 full backs.

Yaya can't play every game these days and Fernandinho is too lightweight and goes missing.
