BillyShears said he has a contact who reckons he's been tapped up by Liverpool and will run down his contract before signing for them on a free. Someone else recently suggested he's moving to Tottenham.

In the absence of juicier rumours, the merits of a potential move have been debated since.

It was me who said Spurs are in for him. I wasn't aware he only had a year left so there will be a few clubs in for him if the fee is relatively modest given that. Cast iron that Spurs are in for him though.
