It's Quiet - a new dawn

It's a short term thing though.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs can't compete financially long term. Spurs have been elevated by Pochettino but that's short term, it'll go when he does. Arsenal's board will never invest enough to out do the big spenders and Liverpool similar.

So then you've got Mourinho and Conte, both one bad season away from resigning, and the new coach coming in will need to rebuild.

If we were to win, for example, the next 2 league seasons, Mourinho, Conte, Wenger & Pochettino would be gone. Suddenly there's not so many great coaches and suddenly we've got quite a lot more money than all of them.
I hope you are right, but I personally dont see it panning out that way in the UK

Oh yes, allegedly they did that too. That lad at Chelsea can still run though.
He had natural human enhancement on his side.

Jamie Vardy, on the other hand, suffers from natural human devolution, which had to be aggressively treated.

I actually genuinely don't.

The longer summer is going on the more it looks like we'll be considerably ahead of them unless they catch up, and while we've arguably addressed our biggest weaknesses (GK, fullback, a Silva replacement) they've done nothing really.

British football is primed for another dominant club in the era of Superclubs, and at the moment we're looking best poised to go into this crucial season in much better shape.

Guardiola was only just getting started last year, and I look at our rivals and see nothing that's going to stop their problems.
Rudiger and bakayoko will improve an already strong Chelsea team. They'll likely buy a cf as well. They'll be the team to beat and Spurs are a very good unit

The CF won't be as good as Costa and they didn't need a better CB.

They still need to improve the wingbacks and get a midfielder who can create without being a liability like Fabregas and Bakayoko ain't that.

Nothing Chelsea has done in the market should worry anyone.

Seems like it, Ric says he's due at the CFA on Tuesday.

After that....Bertrand? Sanchez? Mystery CB? Second RB? Doesn't seem like any of them are close.

I just wish we would do something like the Bernardo thing again. Pathetic I know but there we are. Hope Mendy is in for the tour at least.

Winning the title is never easy bud and with our rivals strengthening too, I think it will become increasingly difficult to easily win again

TBF, the last three of our four titles were all won on the last day of the season. I wasn't around in 1937, but respectfully, I don't think we have ever had an easy run of things when vying for the title.

Unless I'm mistaken, the only time we've won the league at a canter at any level, was under Keegan in the second tier.

Nor me. The clubs mentioned are wealthy enough and attractive enough to ride an off-season or managerial loss. Moreover, behaviours and strategies don't stay static.

You might even argue we blew two golden chances to establish some sort of dominance. First, in 2012/13, after the Aguero moment. Then, what happened when Chelsea and the red shite were tripping over their own shoe laces? Leicester FFS!

I really can't see any single club dominating for more than one or two seasons at a stretch. However, it's all all about opinions and interesting to speculate.
