I agree, we seem to be settling because there just aren't many CBs available for us in the market. Technically, there may be a fairly large number, but almost all aren't capable of playing or learning Pep's style of defending, building from the back, and maintaining proper shape and position. Hopefully, we make enough from sales to put in a good bid for a more suitable CB.

Imagine a pre-season where we don't have a bunch of expensive overpaid flops (with no future at City), training and eating playing time from our first-teamers and youngsters.
