It works very well, I think. Rodrygo provides width, and Foden can roam into the space between Haaland and Rodrygo, where he thrives. On the left side, Ait-Nouri provides the width, so Marmoush can find those pockets centrally where he shines.

Effectively, in possession, you’re looking at:

Ait-Nouri - Marmoush - Foden - Rodrygo
Reijnders - Rodri
Gvardiol - Dias - Khusanov

Wilkinson is highly rated by the club and there were a couple of offers made by L1/L2 clubs last summer for him but he decided to stay.

He'll get a league club job sooner than later. The club knows this so it wouldn't be a suprise if he was promoted to Peps backroom staff for maybe a year so he can get more experience

Arsenal signing Sesko is not something I'd like to see. Think he's a cut ahead of the other strikers available like Gyokeres. Arteta has built quite the squad of players. Hopefully it continues to not be a squad of winners.

The new shiny toy isnt always better. I cannot see a world where Cherki or Rodrygo are in our best front 3 next season. Marmoush is a better version of Rodrygo, and Cherki will be #10 IMO.
