Agree with that, but if we are talking fit youve got to assume it’s Nunes over John at right back, and in any event i don’t think John is better than Nunes at RB

Kerkez is a great player and 100% an upgrade.

Nope.
Not sure Ederson fully wants to be here. So he might go.
Stones can’t stay fit and he will be gone. In a dream world sure but we live in reality mate.
Doku isn’t really consistent to start games at the highest level. Swap with Foden
Need an actual RB that would compliment the RHS players. Someone that is good defensively, high stamina, pace but able to be competent in the attacking half. Like cross and stuff.

Good question. You don’t wanna buy players just because. You wanna know if they’ll fit perfectly. I still think we need MGW’s qualities. I love the way our team is starting to look. But off the ball … it’s looks shaky. In terms of players that can run around, running with the ball, transitional defence I think he’ll be great for that. I also like he’s crossing. But Gundo, Bernardo, Kova would have to leave first. Livra it’s the jigsaw imo. It’s been said countless times. English. 22. Strong foundation. High potential. Pay the money and you don’t have to worry about the back like for years

Don’t disagree but sometimes players are simply unobtainable; Newcastle United accept our offer but then find themselves in the same predicament. Our succession planning has been far from ideal.

think Cherki will play RW tbh. probably even more so if we dont get a RB

He can go inside or out so less need for an overlapper. Pep will probably slide the RB into back three and let Ait Nouri loose down the left overlapping Omar &/or Doku

It’s like saying Cherki or whoever is in our offensive right now is not an replacement for the KDB 2 years + ago. He is „ better“ right now so it’s an upgrade.
