It's Quiet the £250m return

Only on response to others debating otherwise. That's the while Pint of a forum...if you are here for only one point of view you have kind of missed the point of a forum.
Or if we have it yours and other people's way we all just agree...we are the best always, we don't need to improve, some of our players don't need to be moved on, every other team is shit and they cheat to win things.....think that about covers it
Grow up. Where have I said we have to agree?
You made your point, no need to see it re make it every day

Shambles, fucking lol.

We won the league the year after the treble. I'd be amazed if you're actually a City fan.

Your post has been liked by all the people I've already blocked for being the biggest negative trolls on here.
Yes, there's an increasingly obvious little coterie of trolls on here. No doubt (if not already) you'll see posts arguing between themselves to try and lose the stench.

Keeping Gundo and letting Gonzalez go would be utterly bizarre.

Clearly it seems Pep doesn't fancy Gonzalez - no idea why as he's looked half decent every time he's been given an opportunity, but to jettison him 6 months after paying £60m for him calls into question the clubs own judgement and recruitment policies.

Love Gundo as a player but his legs have gone. Watching him ambling back for that first Al Hilal goal the other week graphically illustrated how his best days are in the rear view mirror.
Pep doesn't fancy him because the kid has the kind of fire in him that leads to him voicing his displeasure when he's unhappy with something. I'm not saying he should or shouldn't voice his opinion but we all know that getting on Pep's bad side is a death sentence for a player's prospects at the club. Players with much bigger resumes than Nico's have found this out. It's obvious Nico is not playing, not because he's not good enough, but for some peripheral reason unrelated to ability. Ya don't have to be a Prem League manager to see Nico is way clear of Gundogan at this point in their careers.
Unfortunately for Nico, Pep is a lot of things, overwhelmingly good, but forgiving isn't one of them. He might be less forgiving than a mafia don or a cartel boss, just saying

I get that- but 50M is a big price to pay to hold a grudge.

Gonzalez isn’t top level, isn’t good enough for us if we want to be at the top level and was a very odd signing, to add to our other odd midfield signings.

Gundogan is still a better player than Gonzalez, and if Guardiola is to choose between the two of them then there’s only one winner.
That's an absolutely comical take...

I agree but anyone with even a speck of football knowledge, let alone Pep, can see that Nico G. is a much better option than Gundo at this point. Something does not compute.
Compute's perfectly mate- you just ipso factoed that obviously many people- especially a load on this board- are without a speck of football knowledge.

Winning again next season will be all the sweeter because of the naysayers.
Honest question: Who are the "naysayers"? Those who consistently say NO NEW PLAYER is ever "good enough" for City or those, like myself, who think the squad is basically loaded and some issues over the past 14 months are down to our legendary manager being a bit off his game? Obviously there is a lot of grey area and crossover on here but to me it's obvious that anyone who isn't a Happy Clapper is considered a naysayer by the Angry Clappers on here.

I mean the media mate, and the 4 post specialists who come on to say we're shit :)

Posts on social today saying we want Gundo to stay and Ederson to! The Ederson one is if he stays we won’t be looking at Trafford well that’s dum unless Ederson commits to us for the next 3/5 years

You say Foden played for the best team in the league. Correct. That’s because he was good enough to get in it. Palmer, for example, wasn’t. So, by your argument it was easier to get into Leverkusen’s team.
Also, as I recall, Phil had the odd achievement at under age international level, on a team and personal level, but let’s forget that eh?
You told me to compare them and I did. And now you switching up realizing that the comparison wasn’t wrong after all and come up with under age international level? Wirtz was a starter and the vocal point of his club the moment he started pro football. In the area northrhine Westfalia everyone knew him. He was so big that his move from Cologne to Leverkusen created a big conflict. Hoeneś has been tapping him up since he was 18.

Again. Making the club at the age of 17 isn’t a bad accomplishment but it’s different than putting a whole team on his bag and going unbeaten against all the odds while not even playing for a top team ( when he joined).
If you want to we can also compare the under tournaments between those two which don’t matter at all anyways. Wirtz put a whole team on his back again.
Also the fact that many here wanted Wirtz as the new 10 says it all. When you need a play maker - someone who is close bring an actual 10 you choose Wirtz not Foden. One is a scorer and the other a facilitator.

Palmer scored in some games like the community shield? Before he left? He wanted to leave it’s not that he wasn’t good enough. Pep chose to sell him instead of loaning him out that’s what Palmer said himself.

I love stones he's our best defender when fit. So I wanted to look up how many games he's missed , I'm thinking he's one of the players the club would like to let go because of his injuries.

So 13 starts last term, including six in the Premier League.

"Stones has suffered a succession of foot, hamstring and thigh injuries over the past two campaigns, missing a total of 164 days and 33 games" didn't realise it was that bad

No wonder there's no club willing to take a gamble because its massive gamble. He's 31 as well

That's an absolutely comical take...
What makes you think he’s a top level player? What particular aspect of his game? Athleticism, his reading of the game, positioning, tackling or his passing?

I find it remarkable that people can spend a decade or more watching the likes of David Silva, KDB, Fernandinho and Toure and then argue that Gonzalez is a top level player. It’s frankly absurd.

Gundogan is a different class of player than Gonzalez and even at 60% or so of his peak, Guardiola sees that he’s the better player.

Also, your suggestion that Gonzalez has spoken out of turn and fallen out with Guardiola is nothing more than idle speculation and supposition.
