It's Quiet the £250m return

So it looks like we are done for incoming transfers....very few if any reliable links to any players ....more rumours of outgoings (which is needed)
I know there a few weeks of the transfer window left but it doesnt seem to be Peps desire to bring in playrs after the season has started (nor the clubs usual apporach)

I suppose there is the chance of an opportuity presenting itself that is too good to turn down or wait for

We need someone with more muscle and versatility in midfield. We’ve been linked again recently with Paqueta and earlier in the summer Sara, both of whom have a bit more physicality. Whether outgoings yet allow such a signing remains to be seen, however.
Not a chance we get anyone else in without shifting players

Out: Grealish, McAtee, Ortega, Phillips (injured however), other fringe/youth players

A fullback and we would be a lot more set

Don’t know if this is controversial to say but I think Pep prefers ready made players supposed to young and up and coming players especially in midfield.

Reijnders is the finished product immediately in the first eleven in pre season. I think if we got a Paqueta or someone around that age. They’d immediately go into the team. Like a Bruno G from Newcastle. Might be why he wanted Gibbs white 25, prem proven finished product.

even when u get rid of all of them, u still got 26 players and non-hg issue is more complicated than u think. u still need to offload 3 players for pep's wishful number btw and i justify it since u only allowed to include 20 players in matchday squad for PL and 23 for UCL subsequently. viana really needs to work this out and don't let pep to keep his fav dad's army

We're going to have to immensely patient with Rodri. Can see it being 2026 until we see him as a fighting fit regular again.
Immensely patient? On here? You're having a laugh. First time we give the ball away the match thread will be in meltdown.

If Palmer was still at City and Pep was benching him I'm 100% sure City fans will be defending Pep saying Palmer is not good enough to start.

Yeah that’s true. Even if the younger players are better he would still prefer „ ready made „ players. Seriously don’t know if paqueta is really an upgrade and what the reasoning is to go for him.
