Up to you, this is a football forum.

I wish the guy a speedy recovery, but after reading a lot about the gentleman, he is a very unpleasant individual , whom I would not like my club to deal with.

I think your the one who needs to chill out.

I hope he fully recovers but feels like shit in the meantime.

Some of the flapping on here is embarrassing, assuming, just because we’re not informed of every move they do in The Sun, that a highly experienced and driven management team are doing nothing or having a mare. Four weeks of transfer window left, let’s just judge at the end instead of knicker wetting now.
Because of the Covid situation and financial effects, this window is like no other, and I’m sure that we’re more proactive than most in terms of buying right now. It’s just not easy negotiating or selling on in this climate.

Being as you have been a member on here for as long as I have,is this any different to previous years transfer window threads ?

I'm actually surprised to see your name attached to this bud, TH s posts are usually very clear whether it's his opinion or not.

Personally I don't need to be spoon fed information and would rather sit back and consider the info as it comes. A lot of the really needy ones (not directed at you) are from the modern generation who need their hands holding all the time and being told what to think, preferably by instant social media.

lol, “the modern generation”

I’m surprised you’ve not had an “ok boomer” response from anyone yet

Looking for all the world that we put all our eggs in the Messi basket and have been left with our pants down. Predictable really

How'd you work that one out?

We didn't come into the summer with someone in his position as a priority. There wasn't even any serious movement on it until a few weeks ago and by that point we'd already strengthened in defence and attack.

I can but hope.
in the past we’ve missed opportunities to strengthen further from a position of strength but where we’ve been lacking City have always striven to bridge the gap. I expect the same in this window.

I was more talking about the flappers mate, happens every year,I've grown older and wiser as the years have passed, not to get too involved or excited.

The worry is lately,(last few years) we have done our business early, like Bernardo Silva deal happened from nowhere, but being in these "unprecedented times ",fucking sick of that word,it does seem a bit slow for us,plenty of time yet though.

Maybe It is a paranoid view. Do you think certain clubs dislike our success and thus making it hard for us to strengthen? Clubs are used to us paying extra and you can see we are working hard to change this view of money bags city.

We overpay and ffp will investigate or we don’t strengthen and can’t compete at the highest level for signings.

No ffp no problem but it has had a major effect on us going after blockbuster signings. £40-65 mil we can do it seems but that won’t get you the exceptional signing that become available.
