Mahrez has no balls, no fight. Yes he had a good season but I’m not confident he will do it again. We can do better.

And Rodri isn’t the right man to replace Fern in the DM position. He’s far to slow and he often dwells on the ball and gets caught in possession. Again we can do a lot better.
IMO, utter rubbish.

Every year we go into the transfer window with rumours that we're going to drop a bomb on the rest of football with big signings aplenty.

Every year we mostly end up with players that aren't huge, 'big' names or those under the radar.

If it leads to more players like Dias I'd say the latter approach is better?

Glad @worsleyweb decided on a career that involves building apartments and not football teams.
We'd be fucking bankrupt and playing Doncaster Rovers within 5 years.

I would like to see Sterling playing on the right. He doesn’t seem to run into blind alleys as much when in that position. I’d be happy going into next season with Foden-Kane/Haaland/Sterling as our first choice front 3.

That's a deadly front 3 on form. I prefer having a second goalscorer like Sterling on the wing opposite Foden rather than another creative player like Bernardo or Mahrez. Feels like we're far too reliant on the striker without that extra 25 goals a season you'll get from an in form Sterling.

Also Foden and Sterling play well together. Sterling has assisted more of Foden's goals than anyone else in the team.

When the breaking news says Spurs has rejected our opening offer, we can start to prepare the welcome mat.

They will leak it and is basically the precursor to a negotiation.
Something ive always wondered TH, do clubs actually “bid” for players or is that just computer game/media talk?
Would imagine any transaction at this size would be a continual back and forth understanding the boundaries and if parties agree it gets done.
Or is everyone strong on not selling until they see the numbers on a page

Wasn't trying to be smart pal. Loads of crap doing rounds.

Paul Jiggins in Sun today back page - Sterling, Jesus and cash.

He's a Spurs fan and, as you can quickly ascertain, is quite happy to write bollocks and has no scruples, whether doing Spurs' bidding or playing partisan.
Also said raheem to arsenal, no offence taken Th ,

Cancelo has had a few approaches from Italy and Spain.

He seems happy enough at City.
Is the relation between Qatar and UAE still bad that no deal can happen between us and psg? I heard psg is trying to sign Hakimi for 80m. May be they can give us 75m for Cancelo which can be used elsewhere.

No, I would be introducing young players slowly, with gradually increasing minutes in cups and in games already won.

You missed my tongue-in-cheek comment there. You're completely right, they should be introduced slowly. But if you are going to throw a curve ball in the CL final then why can't you throw in the grandson of two City legends is what I was getting at. You wouldn't. But you also wouldn't play without a holding midfielder for the first time in 60 plus games would you?
