I think the fact an aging Fernandinho is preferred to Rodri suggests he should be moved on, its all surmising but I think Bernado wont be moved on because he would play in any position and be happy and work his cock off while doing it

This txiki fella couldn’t close a sale to save his life.
Liverpool already bought some high class player I think for £50?

woodwars is available we should get him in to get us a player
Liverpool bought an injury prone centre back for 50m which was his release clause. They still need to make sales and have a couple big players leaving that allows room for wages to be worked around

I think both Sterling and Bernardo suffered post-Arteta and after the change of our tactical set-up. Bernardo so far proved he only shares his surname with Merlin. The stamina, ball retention and recycling, work ethic, all of that is there, but he is nowhere near Merlin or Gundo and their ability in setting the tempo and direction of the game. He is basically a winger with excellent one-on-one skills and his efficiency drops dramatically with every yard he is further from the opposition goal.

the UCL final proved to me that we need to be cutthroat. did jesus, sterling do a lot for this team? yes. but i wouldn't lose a minute of sleep over the thought of trading them for kane.

This year, you cannot blame him even if nothing happens until the last day of transfers.
We're not going for the usual potential/squad players we usually target. Going after big names for over 80m, so naturally alot of negotiations and works needs to be done which takes time.

Messi this season and Haaland next season would be best. Messi prefers the false 9 and KDB and can play deeper where he wants. We can also play Gundogan as DM for 15-20 games instead of directly slotting him there in the UCL final as backup to Rodri/Ferna. Torres can be our tentative 'striking option' while Messi plays there in the big games.

Not pushing to sign him when he's so close to a free would be criminal imo.

Keeping the current squad together should be as equally important as adding to it.
Football squads can become stale and keeping players who aren’t happy with their role or lack of game time is not advisable. Fresh faces bring a different dynamic and make the squad an exciting environment to be involved in. I’m sure the core of the squad will remain intact, but we will take the opportunity to move those who are unhappy on, whilst replacing them with quality players who are hungry for success.

We would have two less Prem titles without Bernie, I truly believe that.

He willingly sacrifices the best parts of his own game to make City greater than the sum of its parts.

If he's happy here, he stays before quite a few I could name in terms of just raising cash.

No idea if he's even contemplating a goodbye, but living in Madrid would certainly have its pull for plenty.

Given the economic meltdown affecting most clubs, the idea Kane is worth 150m is absurd.
100m tops. And were we to throw in Jesus for example, he's worth 50.
So Spurs get 50m plus a player. Whether that player is Laporte, Bernardo, Raheem whoever.
By the way wouldn't want any of the aforementioned to leave with the possible exception of Raheem who I feel might fancy a move, although not necessarily to Tottenham.

Still don’t get this.
We throw a player in and we still end up paying near £150m for Kane when we have to replace the exchanged player.
Complete madness.
now if you worked in the media you would understand, just spout some rubbish detrimental story about City, get clickers get fed, surprised they did not say Pep was moving as well
