Replacing Benardo with Grealish does sound like a daft move especially in what Berny has achieved at City and the quality he brings to the team. However if Bernie is unsettled then there is no point in keeping him around.

Whilst Grealish isn't a like-for-like replacement, he's somebody who can pick up the ball and run at the defence - one of Bernardo's many qualities.

Also, after winning 3 titles, an FA cup and 4 league cups, Bernie (and this applies to others too) may have become a bit jaded. Just think how hungry players like Kane and Grealish would be to win things for us over the next couple of years and what this will do for their performance.

We've been so successful that it may be that we have to replace two or three quality players every season just to keep us moving forward.

On a similar note, expect Ferran Torres to come all all guns blazing next season once he gets a proper chance.

£100m plus Tammy Abraham or Odoi.

And loan Haaland back to Dortmund for the season.

That would be very smart.

They know we are in more need of a striker than them this summer.

It takes us out of the game this summer and everyone else next year.

If Haaland fancies Chelsea,thats probably a goer.
 
My opinion on Haaland is while the club would love the player, they do not want the circus that comes with his agent and the inevitable drama when he is 2-3 years into his contract. Cant help but feel the same to be honest, while Haaland is young it really wouldnt surprise me if he only played at his next club for 2-3 years and moved again where as Kane would be far less of a gamble in that respect.

A gamble, a bad injury next season and that could be very expensive.

Dortmund would take that.
 
No way do you buy a striker like Haaland and loan him back ! (Even to get a head start). I mean why would Haaland accept less money than he can potentially get in a year's time to stay back at Dortmund. Also what if Werner goes on to score 30+. Doubt that's true at all.
