Interesting. Good move for them, think he rushed into that though, could have left himself ootions to go to a higher level. Like, Dortmund for example.

He left Dortmund for Sociedad. They had a buyback option for 30m which was waived off and this new deal was signed.

Works for them, but yeah I could also see him at other clubs in CL

Hence my saying I think he rushed into it and could have gone there with a bit more experiance and into a main role if haaland were to leave, which he will, either this year or next.
 
I doubt Lavia will be getting any serious game time in the PL for years.

Foden has only really broken through this season and he was playing on the wing, much easier to throw someone in there than at the base of midfield, and he was a much brighter prospect.

We've needed a reliable DM and left back for years really, but Pep being a genius he seems to get round it every season.

I’m hoping the silence is more due to the fact that we are pretty far down the line with kane but I think that’s more in hope than reality tbh!

I would not be shocked at all if we ended up with ings after we deem Kane’s asking price to be too high. Just waiting for the brief from the usual journos to appear on Twitter that city have walked away
 
So we are going to improve on his already existing 800k a week wage salary!

That seems all logical and dandy!
