We have two keepers?! Also that's the problem we get kane and are unable to sell anyone. Otherwise there is no problem. There is also window opening in January. We can offload then if possible

No you misunderstood. Ederson and Steffen are registered. Ederson gets injured. So Steffen starts. Then you have no keeper on the bench for the game because Carson isn’t registered. That’s risky as hell.

They can have keepers on the B list from the EDS etc

No we don’t. We were filling last year and only put in a squad of 21 when we could have put in 25. We maxed out on foreign players but could have had another 4 association or club trained players - so this is just pure misinformation from somewhere.

We put a squad of 21 last year because that’s all we’re allowed under the rules with squad we have.

currently we have: 15 foreign, 6 homegrown, 1 academy trained. CL rules dictate a maximum of 17 foreign and then 8 homegrown with 4 minmum being academy trained. If you don’t have have 4 academy trained players your squad size gets reduced by each missing academy player. So for us right now we’d shift 2 of our homegrown players into the foreign list making it a split of 17-4-1 which = a max squad size of 22. Kane coming in as a homegrown player would still make this a problem as we’d then have to shift a player out because we still don’t have another academy player. Our max cL squad currently is 22 (with Foden as the only academy trained player)

It isn't mis information we could do it for the P/L and have different squad for C/L. So in theory you are correct. In reality though we are unlikely to want to do that and leave senior players out of the C/L squad.
So if we want to include all our senior players in the C/L squad somebody need to leave to make room for Kane. Still think that and Bernardo's wishes are the maindriver of him going not finanacial.
 
A player too many is bad even if we can technically do it for me. Could lead to less game time across the board and many sad faces. Even more than we had this summer.

Who cares? Strong teams breed strong internal competition which in then turn better results. We’ve gone from the team to having a secure spine to a team that needs to constantly evolve year by year. We got to get used to the idea that a lot of our top players are going to want to leave at some point and it’s a good thing as it keeps the squad fresh

I'm sure we would need either bernardo to go or leave Carson out of the CL squad to fit kane in.

We have 4 English players
Stones/Sterling/walker/Grealish

We only have 1 who counts as homegrown.
Foden so we need to leave the other 3 places empty so a squad of 22.

So that leaves 17 places.
Ederson/Steffen/Carson/cancelo/dias/laporte/ake/mendy/zin/ferna/rodri/gundo/KDB/Jesus/mahrez/bernardo/torres.

So unless the rules have changed then we have to remove 1 of the above to fit kane in.

The rules for prem are different as its 8 homegrown not the 4/4 model of the champions league.

It's "Association Trained" and "Club Trained", not English & Homegrown.
