Most of us appreciate the information posted by those with some form of inside knowledge. And most rational City fans don't take anything as certain until we see the picture on the OS.I’ve heard a couple of whispers mate, but I’m going to keep them to myself until I get something more solid.

I've been driving home from the Lake District today, arriving home at 3pm. I checked the posts from earlier, and there were a number of people with good information that Ronaldo is signing for United. They were all getting torn to shreds on here, and we even had a moderator asking for their names to be reported later so he could take retrospective action against them. I've not read every subsequent post in the thread, but I wonder if they have all received apologies now.
So it cuts both ways. Thanks for the information you have posted, regardless of the outcome of transfers. I think we have all learned lessons from our transfer activity over the last few years, and most of us accept that there can sometimes be last minute changes. Nobody connected with City can be held responsible for that.

Clearly Utd wanted him more than we did despite their need being purely emotional. OGS has to win the title now. They wont. I dont blame City for walking away. Once Utd matched our terms, he would always going there. Where went wrong was in not giving Spurs a pre-Euro deadline.

I get that and it's nice to see someone apologise but what you said was no worse than countless comments I see all over this forum every day.
People were in the Kane thread taking the piss as soon as he announced he was staying and absolutely nothing got done.
Mods have been overly defensive, in my opinion. Possibly because your username carries a bit more weight.
I was practically using my knob as a propeller in that ronaldo thread and I stand before you a free man.
