I was indifferent to Ronaldo coming. If he did Yay, if not, then Okay...
That being said, a kind of sour end to our transfer window, and just feels like City board wasted a month on negotiations.
Perhaps this is why we love release clauses so much, you don't even have to negotiate with the club, just the player.

I can seriously see us not even entering the race for Haaland...something tells me the club wont even entertain dealing with Raiola due to the money he personally wants.I reckon there is a strong possibility (assuming we are still competing for prem and champions league) that we will try and get haaland in January.
Dortmund will likely be miles off Munich and they realistically aren’t gonna win champions league so can see us offering £100 million to try and get the run on other clubs. we must sign him next summer

I get that issues management approach, but pissing about with Ronaldo and the rags as a tactic to relegate that story seems wild, particularly as that issue won’t be going away for a while. this is so fucked if that was indeed the thought process and genuinely makes me feel sickI spent all day yesterday thinking we were lucky to have some good news to outweigh the bad. Your version makes much more sense.

Wasted a month and half chasing Kane when they knew spurs wouldn’t budge. Fucking fools in the city boardroom. I could of paid Grealish’s release clause so can’t even praise them for that. Now we head into the season with a kid upfront who’s never started for city and the other striker who now wants to play of the wing. Whilst our rivals have added two centre forwards
