Itunes + Hard drive

Just had to have my hard drive replaced, meaning that I have lost all my music on Itunes. I read somewhere that if you connect you Ipod up to the computer when there isnt anything in Itunes then all your songs get deleted on the actual Ipod as it automatically updates. How do I get the songs back onto Itunes from my Ipod?

Just e-mail i tunes and then they will give you a link to a website, then you can just upload all your songs from there.
