Because their FA Cup advertising campaign has been emphasising the little teams playing the big teams. The FA Cup is about Kettering vs. Fulham, not the rags vs. Spurs.

I'd have thought ITV have first refusal on games and as such they'll have snapped up the Merseyside derby straight away.

If they must pick an all premierleague match Everton v Liverpool would have been better.

But doesn't most of the interest in the FA cup come from small clubs playing big clubs? I would prefer to watch Kettering Town v Fulham or something.
