we need a CB for what is looking like a month

after that Toure will be back and by that time Lescott, Ned and Bridge a will all be back training and looking for a starting spot

We have a problem due to the injuries and the ACON with out these we would not need to sign a CB .......

Ivan Cordoba has handed Inter a transfer request so he can begin negotiations with Manchester City.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Cordoba is in the process of speaking with president Massimo Moratti, and his plans for the future appear clear. He wants to leave and in order to be reunited with former coach Roberto Mancini at Eastlands.

The Colombian is searching for regular football after spending much of the season so far in the shadows and has welcomed the idea of a fresh challenge in the Premier League.

Mancini will offer Cordoba the football he wants as well as three-year deal worth €2.8 million per season. As part of the deal, the Nerazzurri will receive a €5m cash injection in return for the stopper.

Cordoba does not want to completely cut his ties with Inter though, and has asked whether a future return in another role at the club may be possible.
