At the time we signed him, I'd consider he was just that, and over the following season he lived up to it, maybe he isn't now, but in 2011 he was considered a top player..

I guess its all about interpretation/opinion, but I remember that Dzeko was linked with some of the best at the time, and he helped turn us into a top side.

Back to Rakitic, if its in the least bit true, he really could transform our season, and it would be very interesting to see how we lined up under Pep with him in the squad, both in the PL, and in the CL.
