Jack Grealish

Tough for any club to lose a star player, especially one who has risen from the academy. We would feel the same about losing Phil: some would be phlegmatic and others irate. I hope we get Grealish but I understand how emotional some Villa fans are about it. We should appreciate that we are in a position to tempt a star player and remain humble because we had it happen to us decade in and decade out.

Sure, I can totally empathise with the normal majority of their fan base but I think that goes without saying really.

What I and many others are doing is revelling in the absolute torture that the extremely vocal minority have been going through.

Say what you want about what we were then and where we are now but I was never like that when we were shit.

Tbf I can’t disagree. Could happen, if it did I would be delighted.
It’s a shame about Bernardo if it’s true he wants to leave and I wish him well wherever he goes but there is something about grealish that when we eventually will be paired with foden it will be an unstoppable midfield but at this moment even though I want him at city I think the Kane deal needs doing first as we can’t go into the next season with just Jesus as our recognised centre forward .

Bang on about the striker situation. If Bernardo goes then Grealish would seem a good replacement. I don’t buy into the Villa hype around it all but agree that he could be fantastic for us with the talent we have. I’m hoping Foden will kick on, I was amazed by him last season - the lad is the real deal. If Grealish can slot in I will not complain. I am still on the fence but would love the kid to prove me wrong.

Nah. When we lost SWP our fans had enough about them to understand we needed the money and at the time it looked like a step up for SWP and wished him well. Their fans have just been massive slapped arses about this whole thing.

From attacking journalists for just reporting the news to thinking they're a bigger club and slagging off everything about City. They're a bunch of entitled twats so they're not getting any slack from me about this.
