Jack Grealish

Grealish made his first team debut in 2014. That year we won the PL and the EFL Cup. Since then we have won the PL 3 more times and the FA Cup Once. Plus 5 more EFL Cups - not even gonna piss about with Community Shield wins and runners up. Players like Grealish who have no career winners medals look at that record and realise he could have 11 by now. Its not about greed - we seem to be matching Villa's reported wage offer its about what's in the cabinet at home when you retire.

Same story with Kane with exception of a couple of runners up medals.

oh come on, do you seriously not know why we didnt perform in that final.

I will give you a clue, have a look at the team sheet and see who is missing.
That's not the point though is it? The point is there are several factors as to why a player couldn't have performed in a final, for him at the time it was a very big stage as well and things didn't work out.

There is no point trying to justify or see why a player may or may not be good because of them turning up in finals or else. Kane hasn't either, but it's obvious there's factors, he plays for Spurs, for starters.

100% real talk

Why are Villa fans at Villatalk so confident all of a sudden that he is staying? Did something change since yesterday?
Because they dismiss all reports saying he is going as unreliable and think its more likely this is all just a big con by Grealish and their owners to disrupt their top4 rival Citys transfer plans, which will give them an advantage in the title race. Some guy on reddit that had guessed they would sign Barkley last summer said so.

I like this thinking, can't wait for it to play out so we can still have the last laugh.
