I'm not convinced of that. He's become a world class LB so why move him?

I would say competent stand in, not world class.

he's 21, you want more from him at that age if he's to make it here. For comparison, Sane was 21 last season and he's miles away from that level. He's done alright pre-season but he won't be kept around. Doesn't cover a "free" spot and simply isn't at the level required. Might do alright in the championship and make us a few quid.

This is true but he spent 8 years+ in Liverpool and United's academy before moving to the U.S.

His passport means he's homegrown. Anything else would probably be illegal.

He was a world beater at 6 year old, one of the best ive ever seen, Liverpool were all over him but he chose United instead, at 13 he wasn't even in the squad for a lot of Uniteds under 13s games. He made a big and very very brave decision to go it alone in the USA on a scholarship. His hard work has paid off and I am pleased for him because of his sacrifices.

I don't think he will be good enough for our first team but I wont be the first person he proves wrong if he does it so good luck to him
