they will pay -they usually do

weird that their transfer fees for the likes of Pgoba, Fernandes Maguire etc are never mentioned
In fact It’s the opposite with the press and media,It will be hailed as a masterstoke by the rags regardless of price we spend around £ 50 mill and it’s declared obscene..

Incredible how quickly Ake’s price became almost reasonable.

That lot negotiate like Alan Partridge buying a house:

Estate Agent: Well, are you going to make me an offer?
Alan: Yes of course, erm, how much is it?
Estate Agent: It’s on at three hundred and twenty five thousand.
Alan: Err, would you take three hundred and twenty… four?
Estate Agent: Yeah!

They’d go above, however.

They'll cave. Wait a year and he has another season like this one and he'll be getting interest from Real and PSG.

Torres deal reported with add ons. Sancho deal strips all add ons away. The nature of transfer reporting in the UK.

Time for ed to bend over and take it like a man. He will pay the full price like he has always done, the press will then bail him out by quoting the least figure possible. Scum.

And presumably he'll do it at the end of August, so Sancho has zero preseason, no time to get used to his new teammates/coaches and is given the worst possible platform to hit the ground running.
