James McAtee | On loan at Sheffield United

If City can get comfortable leads, the bench will get chances, but will someone want to be on the bench until they prove themselves, these days? Foden is a good example for McAtee to follow

Too good for the EDS

If he is staying, then lets hope for minimum of 1000 minutes ( Thats around 12 games out of the possible 60 games ) this season.

With Gundo’s back the way it is (and having one year left), I’d like to see him start all the League Cup games and get some sub appearances in the league. Hopefully a dead rubber or two in the CL and maybe some FA Cup matches depending on how he gets on.

Guardiola has habitually looked for a three-goal lead before he’ll contemplate blooding youngsters, but our profligacy in front of goal has often meant that he has been unable to do that or only do it later in games. If the new strikers can finish games earlier, it will give the youngsters a better chance of meaningful game time.
