I think you are right. I can't see him getting in our first team. 95% of the academy players probably never will, but quite a few will probably go on to still earn a living playing football elsewhere.

So Bobb and Gomez are now the fringe players left with us - hopefully the will get some opportunities. Hopefully we can get the CL group won in four games so two dead rubbers in which they could play.

Thought he might have gone to a team that would be challenging near the top half of the league, not one thats likely to get ragdolled most weekends.
Unlikely to make it here, so good opportunity to put himself in the shop window for next summer.

Have w got anyone left other than Foden, Lewis and Bobb. All the rest are kids that are nowhere near ready to step up.

I think it will depend how he gets on this season.

It's a good move for him as he's used to their setup, so hopefully he can get a lot of minutes and come back next season ready to challenge for a spot in our team
