I digress, how did Milner look? I am not necessarily his biggest fan but also believe he looks much better when playing centrally where he has time and space and can take his time on the ball. Him running at defenders is dreadful though. I think we will need him next year with the amount of matches we will play. Garreth Barry will be one year older and let's be honest, Nigel will get suspended for at least one game due to a red and another few due to card accumulation. Just wondering?

He was much better. But, just being 'better than Barry' isnt in itself much of a plaudit. However - he is. So if thats all it takes then yes, he did well.
 
He is an excellent squad-player. Every top team needs players like him. He might not be a starter...but he will get alot of playing time because of his work rate.

Very good player for squad rotation.
 
An integral part of the team if you ask me, utility player for anywhere in the middle, he will be needed more than ever next year, just like Zab.
 
He's been a disapointment for me as I thought he was going to be immense

But he had a very very good game last night, his best yet in a city shirt
