James Milner

How about one day we start with Dzeko, Milner, Silva and Nasri with the rest of the team fitting round them? Makes you think...

It's the one thing we haven't really tried and I've been saying it for 12 months now. A lone forward with Milner, Nasri, Silva as the three behind. Essentially playing Nasri in the Tevez role today. Certainly against the better teams it's worth a go.

I think we sometimes forget just how many variations with have available to us with the players we have.

I think its time he got to play more games now.

That goal was superb just like the one at Wigan.

I have never been his biggest fan but he has been excellent in recent weeks.

His time to shine.

I still think his best position would be in the middle. He could be our Steven Gerrard...

Top bloke. Every squad needs players like Zab & Milner to complement the likes of Silva, not only on the pitch but also in training, to influence the younger lads coming through. Everything you hear and see about Milner reflects a top professional playing at the top level. Not the most talented player we have but not many who put a better shift in.

Never gonna get the credit of a Silva, kinkladze or Ali B type player but he gives his all and never stops. everything a football fan wants from a player that's not naturally gifted.

He's added a new dimension to our game over the last few weeks, with us having some genuine width to our play now. For me, he should be in as much as possible over the rest of the season with Nasri relegated to the bench. We look far better with this set up.

The loan forward would have to be either Dzeko or Balotelli as Aguero and Tevez drop too deep and in effect it becomes 4 small players passing to each other, no runs behind the defence to slip a ball through, no bursting a gut to get in the box for a cross etc.
