I think Ake is a 9. I think there is some recency bias in Doku and Gvardiol - but given the crap they got all season and because I like them, I’ll take it. (And I suppose the recent part of the season is the most important in a way). I’m fine with 10s for Rodri and Foden because I think over the course of the season there is no one better.

I mean it’s only a bit of fun. I don’t think anyone is going to get worked up about it.

But when I think of a 10 back in the old days when a lot of people weren’t watching all the matches, it’s like the sort of thing you might see every 3 or 4 years. Something so exceptional, it would be reserved for a top player anyway having a career high performance.

Even 9, was very rare. I’d be looking more like a very satisfactory 7, rather than 9 for the likes of Doku and DeBruyne just because he missed half the season

But I suppose it’s nice to be over appreciated for once.

I think VAR needs to intervene.

A more reasonable full season accounting, imho, based on ON FIELD PERFORMANCES when available, ignoring injuries, which can’t be helped.

Am only torn about Akanji and Ake, whom I could give 9, but I never quite felt we were safe at the back, yet they always seemed to play well!!

Nothing too outrageous but I'd adjust a lot of those by a point one way or the other. I also really despise how the 1-10 scale is effectively a 5-10 scale and predominately a 7-10 scale for most. Use the whole fucking scale with 5 being the median as it should be not 7. For that reason most of my rating would see players go down as I'm basing it on 5 being average and not an insult.
