January transfer/its quiet Thread

January: Well depends on what Dave's issue is, but a CB that isn't Jonny Evans, LB and Sanchez I guess would be the key players, maybe Goretzka if Schalke want to cash in before the summer.

Zinchenko has been linked with Napoli again, will happily let him leave for £8 million’ish but would want a buy back clause inserted

Can't help but think that a January window with 1-2 quality additions (VVD and Sanchez) will all but win us the league, the psychological effect that will have on the opponents can't be underestimated. Plus they are both players that can make a different long term as well.

Conte is already worried with his comments on us potentially signing VVD.

Ghoulam is out of the question, just signed a new contract and we don’t need another LB that just had a serious injury.

Anyone seen anything of Max? Seems like an attacking wing back to say the least :D

Could mean a return of 2 st's? maybe Sane moving inside..3 CB's? who knows.

According to Bild, Guardiola personally told Txiki to sign him as he seems him as a perfect backup for Mendy. Guardiola is keen on his attacking abilities

Yes, please. He's been immense this season, probably the best LB in Buli currently. For all the love Delph (deservedly) receives, he's quite an average fullback and should be replaced eventually.

But if it's true, I don't undestand Zinchenko's situation. Why would Pep ask him to stay if City plan to buy another LB?

Max could cover Sané too on the LW (He was a winger until this season)

Delph is far better than average as the inability to name many other Premier league left backs who are superior would prove.

As for Zinchenko,he's best playing in a KDB type role.
