Firstly apologies if there is already a topic on this. I'm on my phone and can't find one.

What realistically can we expect in this next transfer window ? I heard something today which kind of surprised me. Heard that a certain Mr Toure had been taken down to London recently for a meeting with FC Anzhi. This was from a credible source and that's as much as I can say.

Realistically we can expect huge anticipation, the forum rife with rumours all ending in people thinking we have wasted a great opportunity to improve and why the fuck we have signed a certain player.

A couple of cheap-ish creative players would be OK. I don't think these Falcao rumours will lead to anything unless we can find someone willing to pay quite a lot for one of our strikers. Begiristain's rumoured two targets Benat and Isco would be pretty much perfect for what we need taking into account Mancini just won't use pure wingers.

We need to sign some grafters because there is not enough work rate throughout the team and it seriously needs improving.

Forget skill for the moment we need endeavour.

January signings usually not a good buy or they rarely work! I wouldn't bother signing anyone and do our business in the summer

I agree youve only got to look at some of the rubbish we have signed in this window samaras springs to mind

Someone instead of AJ as an option for the wings.

Mancini played Kolarov and Dzeko as a winger in the last matches, he really hates players on that position so we will see sooner Kolo Toure as a winger than some real winger but still hope we can get one.

Sinclair wont even play 500 minutes at this rate in the league. (AJ played more than 1100 minutes last year + lot of minutes in the cups).

Is it Anzhi who also say the want Rooney?
What's the score there. If they offer the right price and the rags accepted. Can Rooney refuse??

Would love us to pick up a striker like RVP and a midfielder like Hazard........ Oh hang on, didn't we already balls that up.

New man in charge of the transfers, let's hope if we have any targets the work is done in good time and bit more professionally.

Seriously, just get Falco.
