Arsenal and Manchester City have been given encouragement in their respective bids to snap up midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
The AS Roma star has been heavily linked with a move to England and he refused to rule out the idea of a switch to the Premier League.

Speaking to SportSport, Pjanic said he is flattered to be in the running for a transfer to one of England's top clubs.
'I have to admit it's nice when your name is linked with big clubs in Europe. At the moment, I do not want to think about possible future destinations. I am exclusively focused on my job at Roma,' he explained.
But his words are sure to be warmly received by Arsene Wenger and Roberto Mancini, both of whom would love to add the 22-year-old Bosnia international to their squads.
They will have to act fast though, as several other English clubs, as well as sides from throughout Europe, are also known to be looking at the playmaker.
City, in particular, have been linked with a host of midfielders ahead of the January transfer window, despite snapping up Jack Rodwell and Javi Garcia in the summer and still being able to call upon the likes of Yaya Toure, Gareth Barry, James Milner and David Silva.
