Says that if City come 2nd this season; it will be the biggest ever dissapointment in Premier League history!

Going on about us being pretty much joint 2nd last season only to fall short on goal difference but still won a trophy wheras this season finishing 2nd and not winning a trophy despite it being one of the poorest premier league seasons in terms of quality with all the top teams in transition will be the biggest dissapointment in PL history and Fergies biggest ever title win with what he thinks is the worst United side of the last 20 years...

he did say he still predicts us to win the league this year!!

It would be though, at least the biggest since Newcastle fucked it up with the Asprilla effect. 6 months we have topped the table, to not win it would be heart breaking.

Also, he supports and played for Chelsea.

Rubbish how can you compare us to a team that blew a 12 point lead!!

Considering the start we had, then a lull which also saw us top the table for those 6 months, I can't think of another season which would be deemed as disappointing as watching Newcastle throw that title if we we don't win this one.

Never listen to talksport. I tried watching 'you're on sky sports' and he's got to be the worst presenter ever. Likes his own voice.

How about Manure blowing it when they had a 9 point lead over Arsenal?

Well no, because United are always going to be in with a shout of winning the league and it's like 'well they'll win it next year'. Same could be said for us I suppose, but with the football we played those opening 3 or 4 months coupled with topping the league from October, well I can't think of a season which will be looked upon as a team other than the usual suspects having a genuine chance of winning it since that 95/96 one. That is why it will be deemed as the most disappointing one to some.

Some hyperbole in there but his core point is correct. If we don't win it with this squad and after that start it will represent underachievement and be very disappointing.

Long way to go yet. This is far from over.

Under Fat Ron Atkinson, didn't the rags win the first 12 games... and finish 4th.?

Weren't the Geordies summat like 12 points clear and lost it?

So how come, when we've never been more than 5 points clear (on same games) being targeted as flops already!

Pillocks.
