I search google news then put the Turkish stuff I find thru google translate - I relay what's filtered outta the resulting machine gobbledygook.
Hard to derive more, but I will say that I sense JD is not happy playing mostly RB and wants to play more in the middle of the defense - and since I saw
those quotes, he has. So ... results!

What little I've seen on reddit is that everyone likes him and considers him one of their better defenders/players. Rarely is criticised and their seems to be a sentiment around the fans that worse turkish/academy players are getting a free pass and being rotated in when they just want Denayer in the line up each week.

Now, whether this is our boy doing really well or the alternatives stinking up the place I have no idea, might ask about.

Denayer went 90 at RB in a Gala loss today. He had started at CB since returning from his hammy pull but was put out wide for this one.
His pass rate was 90% btw - sounds like a typical steady-Eddie JD performance.

Based on nothing more than a gut feeling,and I hope i'm wrong......but does anyone else think this lad will be more likely sold than he will play for us?
