Sounds great.

Ship out a huge talent last minute to a club in a tinpot league only for them to prioritise their shit youngsters ahead of him.

They're just bringing him back slowly from his injury. Probably on our orders because he's better than any of their defenders, they will want him playing as much as possible.

Luckily the manager who was doing that got fired, sadly Denayer then proceeded to have the injuries, with him returning I think he'll end the season well plus he could be at the euros this summer too which'll be a great experience.

Unfortunately, that means he is less likely to start in Pep's team, as he won't get to look at him until later.

That really Shouldn't be a problem, Mangala, Kompany, Otamendi will all be at the Euro's or Copa America at the same time.

You could say Denayer would benefit from the time with Guardiola while the there are away, but an international tournament would be great experience and if he continues at RB he has a good chance of starting because Belgium don't really have any fullbacks.

Wilmots likes young players as well as we saw with him bringing on Origi over Lukaku at the World Cup.

I mean because we have 3 experienced centre backs ahead of him. If he was working with Pep whilst they were away, he would very likely be ahead of them by the time they got back. If he's away too, then they are all starting equal, except one is captain & the other two cost 80 mil.

Guardiola won't give a shit about how much the other two cost. He benched €70m Ibrahimovic for Pedro.

He might do the same with Denayer eventually but much less likely to happen early on if he's away, than if he was already several weeks' training ahead of the others.
No, don't believe that. He will have done his homework and will make some big decisions early. If he believes Denayer is a better footballer than Oto or Mangala, he will play him and give him his chance. Might be centre back, might be full back.
