At 20 years of age, he has still been growing and maturing physically and you see niggling injuries in these young lads all the time.

I have no worries at all.
No, you don't see them. This is his fourth or fifth injury since October and that isn't normal at all for a 20 year old.

Make your own minds up, but 23 games missed in 2 seasons - not including the injury he picked up last night - is slightly worrying to me. Hopefully he'll grow out of us.

Can't see what you're worrying about to be honest. He missed 8 games at Celtic due to a foot injury (I think he got stood on or kicked against Dundee), the longest other spell out was with a thigh strain (9 games). That's 17 out of your 23 games which can happen to anyone, just ask Nasri this season. 2 games are listed as 'rest' which only leaves 3 games with a hip problem and 1 game with a calf strain.

Hardly worrying.

Picking up 5 injuries in a season isn't worrying?

You mean 3, since 1 was last season (the fact that he was at Celtic was a clue), and the other is listed as 'rest' whatever that actually means. So. no it's not 'worrying'.

5 because if you hadn't noticed, that doesn't include him going off injured yeaterday, and the "rest" was a knock.

5 injuries is worrying, only an idiot wouldn't see a 20 year old who's struggling to stay fit for more than a month, and not be at least slightly concerned about his long term fitness.

Although I suppose we could bury our heads in the sand and look for any possible reason to excuse each injury.

You sound like you'll be disappointed if he doesn't immediately announce his retirement due to injury. Nice work with the personal insults BTW, it makes you look a dick but nice work regardless.

I'm not sure how you managed to pull that out of my comments, you seem to have decided that me being concerned about how injury prone he is = me wanting him to be injury prone.

There is a worrying trend of continuous injuries this season. It would be a great shame if the trend continued and hampered his career.
