Our staff retention in certain areas does raise questions - given our position and set up, buy hey, people move for all sorts of reasons..

We took Barça's successful triumvirate of Soriano, Begiristain & Guardiola, & transferred their skills to City which has been the critical component of us creating the Club we have today.

Perhaps Southampton have decided to start again from the academy up, by bringing in the attainable English coaches City have.

Was Wilcox going to progress beyond Academy Director at City any time soon? He probably thinks he's hit a glass ceiling with us, but Southampton are offering him a promotion to Txiki's level.

At this stage of his career, it's probably the best personal move he could make. Now he'll have a direct first team role plus an overview of Southampton's academy.

We wanted the 2008-2012 Barça magic at the Etihad. It seems Southampton want City's perceived magic at St Mary's. The staff & youngsters they've taken from us shows Manchester City is the football club blueprint they want to emulate.

Very Strange this one,what I’ve been told about Jason everyone loves him to bits at City,well if that’s what he wants All the best to him.
