Can he fill in at CB d´ya think?LoveCity said:The times I watched him in the CL he was great at breaking up play and technically very good but I didn't see any evidence of him having an Alonso or De Rossi-esque passing range. Maybe someone who has seen him more can comment, he struck me as a very good midfield hard-man, not a mix of hard-man and deep-lying playmaker that we perhaps need.

I've not seen him there but apparently he can fill in at CB.

I can't believe I'm gonna say this (even worse if he we did get him), but we need to forget this man. He's Roma all the way. He will only leave one way.... if Roma tell him "please leave, its too much money to refuse and we could build an excellent team with this money".
No other way. Throw in 40 of the worlds hottest women, the highest paid salary of any footballer hell even a palace in UAE and he would say no. We will have to offer a MONSTER bid to Roma, one to rival Ronaldo...yes that fookin big!
So lets go for the Garcia!

Well that's the most sense you've posted on here in two yearsTevez City said:

I'd be very disappointed if our summer signings where Rodwell, Sinclair and Garcia but thats what happens when you dont spend big money.

That's a good description. The only thing I may add is that Alonso in RM has more freedom as Mourinho plays in 4-2-3-1, in Benfica Jorge Jesus mostly uses 4-1-3-2 and based on that Javi role is less offensive, he stays back and sometimes drops to CB when Benfica has the ball and uses 3-5-2.LoveCity said:The times I watched him in the CL he was great at breaking up play and technically very good but I didn't see any evidence of him having an Alonso or De Rossi-esque passing range.
