CFG aren't investing Silver Lake money in the arena. Silver Lake have a big investment in Oak View who will own the arena.When? Part of the Chinese Media deal was that the money got reinvested into a Chinese CFG team and growing the game there, and the Silver Lake money is being invested in the new music venue.
Not that it would scratch the surface of the expenditure anyway if Mansour did pocket the money from the CFG invesntments.

It only trickles down to the people who are looking for these kind of stories, they’ll always be something for these football vermin to leech on to. They’re the same people that decided attendance figures suddenly mattered once city became the dominant club in this country and not trophies, the same ones who will ignore all the players we passed on in recent years because we couldn’t afford that kind of fee (basically half of the united rejects) and think we are the only club in the world to spend money despite 5 clubs in this league alone having higher record transfers than ourselves.
The more sensible, decent football fan won’t even hear his words nevermind take notice of them. For instance I only ever hear what this guy is saying because of the moaning about it on here.
Strike up a conversation in any pub in the country with a fan of another team, and you will get the usual City Bingo. The basis of which is from such outpourings as Tebas etc.
To believe they have no effect on the majority of other fans, and their perception of our club is naiive. Those other fans listen to Talkshite and it's continual snipes and digs. They read BBC Sports new, SSN, the tabloids who all happily forward such shite, drip drip drip ....and it really does stick.
