About 20 years ago he got in my dad’s taxi after a night out. My dad obviously said he was a blue. Jeff asked if he fancied coming in for a drink as my dad’s shift was over. Jeff gave him a match worn Northern Ireland shirt. Top guy.

Decent enough ,fairly skilful player at the time in a crazy few years at City is how I remember him.. My main memory of him is with his fist clenched in the player 'love in' at Wembley after Dickov's goal (ooh, that sounds a but dodgy doesn't it!) He played most of his City games the following Blackburn) promotion season didn't he.
Would probably go under the 'journeyman' banner, especially after he left City. Keegan obviously didn't rate him too highly, maybe not the best City player ever, but not the worst either! (and there were some really shit ones when he was at Maine Road!)
