JEROME BOATENG has told former club Manchester City to enjoy Munich while they can, because they will not be back for the Champions League final.
Roberto Mancini's men are among the favourites for this season's tournament, even though they are in it for the first time.
They will face Boateng and Bayern Munich's watertight defence in the Allianz Arena tonight.
And the £13million defender, who quit the Etihad in the summer after just one season, does not fancy their chances of returning on May 19.
Boateng said: "I do not see them getting to the final because there are others. We have the better team.
"They're a huge squad and the team had no sense of togetherness. I still have a lot of contact in England. I've been texting them and I will be teasing them."
Boateng insists he made the right decision to return home when Bayern came in with their offer.
He added: "It was to be a bit closer to the family but also the national team was a factor.
"When you are playing in Germany, you are much more likely to be watched by the German coach."
French flier Franck Ribery reckons that City will be facing the strongest Bayern team he has known.
He said: "If we carry on playing as we are, nobody can stop us."
