karims old teammate at youth international level hes now part of the senior sqaud and looks a great talent he'll have a breakout tournament if he plays, we seem to be targeting a left back if we sell kolarov and we've been linked with young left backs such as digne and ghoulam and i think willems would be a great addition as he would be relatively cheap and would be on low wages compared to the rest of the lads. we need to build for the future we cant just have a sqaud full of superstars even a team like madrid are starting to involve younger players more its the way forward.

No idea who he is, but he don't half look like the second cousin of Micahs aunty who married jermaine defoes half-niece-in-law (thrice removed)

that said,

his wiki page reads well, and it sounds like he has a bright future, with his national manager showing a lot of faith in him.

Good call, one to watch

Willems became UEFA European Under 17 Champion with the Netherlands in 2011.

While being selected for the Under 19 squad, on 7 May 2012, Willems was named in the provisional list of 36 players for the Euro 2012 tournament, one of nine uncapped players to be chosen by Netherlands manager Bert van Marwijk as part of the preliminary squad. To make things more remarkable, he was still in the Oranje Euro 2012 squad, after Van Marwijk had made a first cut to 27 players on 15 May 2012. [2] Willems also made the final cut into the 23-man squad, being given the number 15 shirt. Willems will be the youngest player at the competition. He made his first unofficial appearance for the senior national team on May 22 2012 in a friendly match against FC Bayern Munich.

He's supposed to be great, Karim is one of my friends and I've asked about him and he's supposed to be brilliant, especially for PSV Eindhoven who have another Dutch international left back in Erik Pieters.

Kjaer and Agger had both good games for Denmark, Am a big fan of Agger he's very good, There has been a lot of big clubs looking a Kjaer a while he's looks to be a good prospect.

Well after watching the game just, he didn't make too much of an impression. Looking back at the replays the Dutch defence struggled to hold any sort of formation.

dont think he was that bad he got caught out a few times but he had no support from affelay and at times he had to cover up at centre back so he was essentially marking two players, he looked very good on the ball imo and looked promising defensively hollands midfield were poor defensively there was no help at all for the defence and they allowed too much space for denmarks midfield eriksen tore them to shreds with his movement. denmark attacked willems a lot and tried to use rommedahls pace yet all there threat came from the right and thats where they scored the goal. i saw enough to show me he'll be very good in the future @lovecity its a tough choice between willems and digne but i'll go with willems as hes better defensively and just as good attacking although he doesnt have as much pace as digne. i think ghoulams better than both atm.
