Don't think it's BT he works for. My bars all show the games on Bein and he's usually the comms on there.

In other words, like many others at that end of the M62, he was quite fond of us when we weren't a threat to his team.

I wonder whether you could say much the same thing about some of the cunts who bricked our coach.

True enough but I just think this is out of character for Beglin. He might be ex-Liverpool but he's never come across to me as being a Liverpool mouthpiece and up their arse as much as the likes of Aldridge et al. I'm prepared to accept this as a piss poor attempt at a joke and nothing more.

It’s ok for our generation, but my kids struggle to comprehend it, they’ve both got into trouble responding overly vigorously to empty seat jibes from non match going rags

I get your point mate, just let the kids who are lucky enough to grow up in an era of our dominance learn to laugh at the bitter buggers.
 
I can imagine our owner sat glued to a dodgy stream thinking what the fuck did he just say , maybe not the fuck bit , dialled khaldoon and said sort it out mate

The thing is we often get that jib in conversation between pundits , massive amount of times they call us manchester ut..city, the crowd is flat and quiet , we are sportswashing , state owned , all live on air , it is very clear that is how they address us off air and they forget and say it on air , no other team gets that
