Who cares if he did call it us on purpose? There is no way to prove it either way, so best to get over it and move on. And even if he did ... so what? We're the best team in England and perhaps the world. People will be jealous of that, it's human nature.

I'd love it if the fanbase would reclaim the 'Empty seats' issue rather than getting worked up by it. Let's laugh at it and revel in it! Six PL titles in 11 years (hopefully), and no fans! Not bad for a club founded in 2008 setup for Sportswashing by people from the desert.

Own the mocking and your enemies can't use it against you, and then they really are fucked. Perhaps they'll have to focus on how incredible we are on the pitch then? Or look in the mirror about the state of their own teams?

Exactly, At the end of the day, we don't have tens of thousands glory hunters that travel from Scandinavia, Ireland, the home counties and other far away places.

For me, I'm not really arsed, it's irrelevant, false shite that rival fans have to pedal for banter because we're so good on the pitch that they can't say 'jack-shit' about that.

I do think it's extremely unprofessional for a broadcaster to be peddling such nonsense though and from a City perspective it's damaging to the brand and club when lies like this are allowed to be broadcast to millions.

I can see why some people are getting tired of this though. This is not the first time that we've had a commentary team do a hatchet job done on us this year (2022) and we've only played 3 games. I think the commentators need a reminder from broadcasters to be professional and put bias aside.
